Ocean Freight Rates from U.S.A to Cameroon

We offer both Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL). Your do not have to fill a container in order to send your goods to Africa. Less than Container Load (LCL) services can meet your needs. With LCL services, you can ship boxes, barrels or more at a lower cost.
LCL services is the cheapest means of transporting goods to Cameroon mainly because weight does not count.
Note: All International Shipments are subject to inspection by customs. We pick up shipment from your residence or business in any major city in the United States to our Shipping Terminal. All costs are factored into final charges, and you will be promptly notified. Dropping off your shipment to our agents nearest to you will help eliminate transportation charges.

Car Shipping from U.S.A. to Cameroon
We ship cars from the following loading ports:
Baltimore MD, Houston TX, Jacksonville FL, Miami FL, New York NY /New Jersey and Wilmington DE.
There are two ways you can send your car to Cameroon, including:
Use a 20 ft. or a 40 ft. Ocean Container and place the container on a container vessel (Ship). The price you pay depends on whether your container is a 20 or 40 ft.
Roll On – Roll Off (RORO). Through this means, your car is placed in a vessel (ship) in open air. While this means is cheaper, it comes with restrictions. For example, you are not allowed to put anything in the car except a spare tire due to inherent risks. Your car may also be easily damaged because it is exposed.
Therefore, we encourage shipping your car in a container. We understand you may not have enough money to send a container. We can ship your car in a container at a lower cost, and what that means is that you can put as much stuff in the car as you want.
Shipping companies charge $2,000 to ship your car (RORO) without allowing you to put anything in it. What if someone tells you that you can pay $1,500 – $1,800 and stuff it as much as you want? Isn’t that amazing? Guess what, we make that happened.

Packing Tips
Here are a few general things you need to know about packing your Personal Effects if you are planning to ship by Ocean Freight. Below are our recommended Packing Tips for Personal Effects and Household Goods:
Packing Boxes:
We recommend that you pack your Household items, such as Clothes, Beddings, Dishes, Computers, Home Electronics, etc. in Double Walled Boxes. Double walled boxes are stronger and are heavy duty. You can get double walled boxes from your local U-Haul stores. U-Haul stores in your area have these boxes in different sizes, including the following dimensions;
18 X 18 X 28
24 X 24 X 20
24 ½ X 24 ½ X 27 ½ and
24 X 20 X 34
You can also purchase these double walled boxes from any local Moving Store or Storage Place in your area. Different sizes of double walled boxes can also be ordered online at www.uline.com
Barrels:
- You can also ship your stuff in barrels, but we recommend not to place fragile items and those that can easily spill in barrels. You can purchase them in some local stores in your area or online. We also have barrels for sale at affordable prices for your convenience. Please contact us for details.
Packing:
Do not ship half-filled boxes or leave empty space in the box, crate or barrel. In shipping business, boxes are often stacked on one another. Empty space in the box may allow the content to move freely, causing damage to the items and package. There is also a risk of other boxes crushing the half-filled box.
When shipping fragile items or breakables, always pack the items tight to avoid movement as much as possible, and make sure you pad and cushion the items with clothes, bubble wraps and packing peanuts. Also ensure all sides of the box are tightly taped. You can put tape all around the box, but please do not cover your name and address with the tape. We recommend not to mix heavy and fragile items in the same box, crate or barrel.
Furniture requires special handling and can only be shipped using specialized carrier services. Because of the inherent risk of damage, we can only ship furniture packed by professionals in Wooden Crates. Medical Equipment, Large Photocopiers, Printing Machines and other Delicate Equipment also need to be shipped in a Wooden Crates.,
Labelling:
Please note that labelling plays an important role in shipping, and it is the shipper’s responsibility to label his/her shipment. Please make sure you label boldly and clearly the Sender’s Name, Consignee’s Full Names, Phone Number and Address on any two opposite sides of the box, crate or barrel.
Note: All international shipments are subject to inspection by customs. Because Nivo Shipping does not handle dangerous goods, please do not send such commodities to us. Do not pack arms and ammunition or items that contain oil and gas, as well as those that are not approved by the customs and other law enforcement agencies.
